About the team

We are looking for an experienced Product Operations Governance Manager to join our Product team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical programme and product background combined with project management expertise to drive the governance and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects. You will report directly into the VP of Portfolio, Programme and Product Operations and work closely with your own team, engineering, product, design, and other cross functional teams to define governance goals, develop plans, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both business and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given. Interaction and leadership across functional lines is essential. 

About the role

Production Operations Management fulfils a critical role in supporting:

  • Scaling Product Development,
  • Improving Delivery Processes,
  • Improving Operational efficiency across all teams,
  • Enhancing Cross-functional collaboration,
  • Working across Product Managers, Engineering, Design and The Field, ensuring alignment, all teams are informed and operations are running well, and are assured regularly to ensure adherence.
What would you do?
  • Drive Operational Excellence across the lifecycle of all products,
  • Own, build and maintain all systems, tools, and documentation to support success,
  • Streamline planning, prioritisation and roadmap execution,
  • Own, maintain and continually improve all processes, including, release planning, backlog refinement, analytics, feedback loops, OKR’s, communications and reporting,
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives ensuring alignment across all required teams,
  • Develop Dashboards and reports to track OKR’s and teams performance,
  • Lead and support change management and comms strategies for product initiatives,
  • Identify, own and implement process improvements to drive scale and efficiencies.
What we expect:
  • 3-5+ years of Product Operations, Product Management or Portfolio Governance Role (ideally in a SaaS or Tech biased companies).
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology and within product development frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills – comfortable working with Data and using Data to inform stakeholders, make decisions and measure impact.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Portfolio tools – i.e. Jira. Confluence, ProductBoard or similar.
  • Knowledge of Customer Insights Tools (i.e. – Mixpanel, Amplitude, Pendo).
  • Excellent Communication Skills – proven ability to synthesise complex information and tailor said information for all levels of audience.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management experience.
  • Extensive experience working in fast paced environments.
  • Visible energy and passion for efficiency improvement.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity.
