Product Operations Manager

The WowAs a Product Operations Manager, you will fulfil an important role in facilitating and optimising the operations of the Product department. Your role will be crucial in defining, optimising and standardising product management processes, including for discovery, prioritisation, and planning. Working closely with the CPO and the wider product organisation, you will help to drive efficiency, alignment and visibility in how we develop and improve our products.
A taster of what you will be involved with:
- Support Product Planning: Streamline monthly product reviews and quarterly planning, ensuring clear and well-structured materials are prepared for leadership discussions and information sharing.
- Centralise and Optimise Roadmapping: Work with product teams to create and maintain transparent, structured, and aligned roadmaps, which can be easily referenced and understood by stakeholders.
- Product Management Tooling & Automation: Oversee and optimise product management tools to enhance productivity, transparency and alignment. Drive automation to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Define, document, and govern product management processes, while proactively driving improvements to optimise efficiency and align with engineering processes.
- Drive Investment Visibility: Establish a data-driven view of investments in our products, enabling leadership to take more informed and timely decisions.
- Facilitate Product Forums: Coordinate product forums, ensuring agendas are followed, materials are prepared, and actions are documented and followed up.
- Optimise Employee Experience: Establish onboarding material and processes for new joiners, assist in standardising expectations for different roles, co-ordinate training/upskilling programs, and actively identify opportunities for improving the general employee experience.
- Enable the CPO agenda: Support the CPO in any matters as may arise from time to time
What we are looking for
- 5+ years working in product management, preferably having worked in a similar operations role and as a product manager/product owner.
- Strong expertise with product management processes for discovery, prioritisation, and planning.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies, knowing what it takes to build world-class products that are loved by users.
- Demonstrated experience with process optimisation, with a proven ability to optimise processes through tooling and automation.
- Proficient and knowledgeable on product management tools used for roadmapping, backlog management, and portfolio management.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and initiatives, having successfully coordinated and aligned efforts across different departments.
- Background and experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity and experience with Atlassian products, in particular with JIRA Product Discovery.
- Relevant working experience in the iGaming industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data to drive decision making.
- A collaborative team player capable of fostering positive working relationships.
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- A self-starter with a bias for action and strong sense of accountability.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
