THE TEAM

You will join our Development team, responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining our autonomous mobile robots - arculees. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international, and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Owner is accountable for maximizing the value of the product by developing and aligning roadmaps together with stakeholders and the scrum team.  Your tasks will include:

  • Accountability for effective Product Backlog management, which includes 
    • Defining together with Product Managers and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features.
    • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria. 
    • Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible, understood, and frequently updated. 
    • Following the Definition of Ready (DoR) and the Definition of Done (DoD).
    • Collaborating closely with development teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of products, taking full accountability for feature implementation.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations about product needs.  
  • As part of the scrum team, guide products from concept to delivery.
  • Organizing the team’s decisions but not deciding them alone and being accountable for statements/decisions made together with the team.
  • Understand the impact of the technical decisions made by the development team and respect those decisions. 
  • Being proactive in presenting solutions to the problems that might appear. 
  • Be prepared for meetings with the team and internal and external stakeholders.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in an engineering discipline, or the equivalent in experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a product owner role.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English language, German is a plus.
  • Certification as a Product Owner (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
