This role in a nutshell

The Productivity Solutions Engineer is a key technical role within our Enterprise Security & Platforms Productivity Solutions team, dedicated to advancing internal business efficiency through innovative solutions and automation technologies.

In this role, you will be developing and implementing solutions that reduce manual effort and improve productivity. You’ll work with other engineers and stakeholders to create, test, and deploy solutions that align with business needs and the wider departmental strategy.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with Solutions Engineers, the Technical Manager, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based, automation-driven solutions. Focus on reducing toil and manual efforts, ensuring alignment with business needs and departmental strategy to enhance productivity.

Automation & AI Integration: Engage in the design and development of automation and AI solutions, identifying areas for improvement to reduce manual work. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of these solutions, providing constructive feedback to enhance processes and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Comprehensive Feasibility and Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough feasibility reviews and risk assessments for proposed solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and align with strategic goals.

Product Adoption and Continuous Development: Support the adoption and continuous development of existing products, platforms and systems to keep solutions cost effective, centralised and ensuring our data and automations are in the right places. 

Effective Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external teams within the Enterprise Security & Platforms department, providing feedback to stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient solution development.

Security-Focused Design: Maintain a security conscious approach to all aspects of solution design and implementation, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Commitment to Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying these insights to the solution development process and sharing knowledge with the team.

We’ll pay you between  £39,960 - £57,542, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
