Project & Program Manager II, Performance Team

Pinterest is looking for a Program Manager. This role is responsible for enabling advertisers and sellers to drive success on the Pinterest platform, for supporting cross-functional teams' operations and adapting new solutions through scalable  programs at Pinterest. The Program Manager will closely partner with cross-functional leads in sales, measurement, brand solutions, product and engineering, among others, and will be responsible for ideating and managing end-to-end global programs that may involve foundation enhancements, advertiser and campaign activation, performance, data analysis, reporting and XFN scaled solutions. This is a multi-faceted, fast-paced job in a start-up environment so flexibility, a data-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are a must. The right candidate will be a strategic thought leader who is driven by learning and solving ambiguous problems. 

Performance Solutions delivers through strategic guidance, operational excellence and technical expertise to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns resulting in increased client ROI. We work to understand, innovate, and scale cross-functional workflows. We are responsible for measuring process impact, making our business more efficient with consistent execution while embarking on building the next generation of data-driven best practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple programs, defining their strategy and managing these programs end-to-end.
  • Drive and scale execution on multiple program and project deliverables, collaborating across cross-functional teams, managing vendors, budgets and timelines for effective delivery.
  • Develop solutions and frameworks to enhance program efficiency based on identified problems or organizational needs.
  • Identify key challenges faced by sales teams, advertisers, and cross-functional partners, proposing effective solutions aligned with program objectives.
  • Ideate and manage new pilots and programs based on strategic business needs.
  • Define success metrics and track the evolution, adoption, and impact of the program, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide regular reports on desired metrics and SLAs to cross-functional partners and leadership.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of expertise in Program Management and operations or relevant experience.
  • Proactively respond to ambiguous problems and lead efforts towards effective solutions.
  • Ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view into a coherent action plan. 
  • Inspire and influence cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
  • Demonstrate a curious and independent learning mindset.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions. 
  • Advanced Excel modeling required, building business cases and narratives via PowerPoint and verbally. 
  • SQL knowledge is required. 
  • Experience with online advertising is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as project management, or equivalent experience.

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per every 6 months.
