YOUR MISSION

You will own our Public Affairs strategy in Spain, building strong relationships with institutional stakeholders to showcase the benefits of our innovative model. Your role will focus on understanding local regulatory landscapes and driving impactful campaigns to support meaningful reform

THE JOURNEY

  • Define, manage and execute the non-market strategy of Glovo in Spain as part of the Policy and Comms team.
  • Work across Glovo with different teams (Marketing, Legal, Operations, People, etc.) to identify the policy relevance of their strategies and needs, taking action accordingly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including trade unions.
  • Design policy papers and proposals which could contribute to enrich public consultations and discussions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 8 years experience working in public policy and government affairs. But we’re open to candidates who’ve been leaders in other careers (e.g. legal & corporate affairs, industrial relations, public sector) and may be looking for a career change.
  • An overwhelming passion for tech and digital economy. Previous work experience in a startup or high-demanding environment is a plus.
  • Superior understanding of the social, economic and political context in areas affecting the business and policy goals of Glovo and experience in dealing with trade unions and CBA negotiation processes.
  • The attitude of a self-starter, the versatility of a chameleon, the vision of a day-dreamer, and the pragmatism of someone who knows that the world can be changed only KPI after KPI.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
