The Role

As a Purchasing Manager at Pantheon, you will lead and create the company’s purchasing operations by developing a procurement strategy that drives efficiency and innovation across our teams. You will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Pantheon. This role allows you to shape procurement processes, build supplier relationships, and create cost-effective purchasing strategies that support both new product launches and daily operations.

What You Will Do

  • Own the development and execution of a comprehensive procurement framework, from vendor selection and contract negotiation to onboarding and purchase execution.
  • Help select and procure purchasing software.
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies and governance, ensuring organizational compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop cost-effective purchasing strategies, conducting cost analyses, and setting benchmarks for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to incorporate purchasing activities into product launches, R&D projects, and inventory management.
  • Oversee ERP system tasks, including creating purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and item setup.
  • Foster strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
  • Represent Purchasing in cross-functional meetings, driving solutions for scaling Pantheon’s operations globally.
  • Provide mentorship to colleagues, enhancing purchasing knowledge and processes within the team.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of purchasing or related experience; experience in a high-growth software or technology environment is a plus.
  • Proven track record of creating and optimizing procurement processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to drive favorable terms with vendors and suppliers.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.

The Canadian base salary range for this position is between 116,000-129,000 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
