What is the Role?Elastic, the Search AI company, is building a new Mid-Market Sales team to capture the immense potential of the German Mittelstand, with a special focus on manufacturing and winning new logos. We are searching for a dynamic, high-energy sales leader to build, run, and inspire this team from the ground up.This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape Elastic’s go-to-market strategy for the German mid-market, drive new logo acquisition, and create a high-performance environment. You will be a key member of the EMEA Central leadership team, responsible for establishing a scalable, repeatable sales motion and unlocking growth in one of Elastic’s most promising segments.What You Will Be Doing

  • Recruit, lead, and develop a team of Mid-Market Account Executives focused on new logo acquisition and hunting across industries and with a focus in the manufacturing sector.
  • Build and execute a winning sales strategy tailored to the needs of German mid-market manufacturing customers.
  • Foster a culture of energy, growth mindset, and high performance—motivating your team to achieve extraordinary results.
  • Lead from the front: actively engage in strategic deals, coach your team, and set the standard for excellence.
  • Design and implement scalable sales processes, compensation structures, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams to deliver value and innovation to customers.
  • Ensure quota attainment and drive Elastic’s sales methodology.
  • Champion teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel as needed to support your team, build relationships, and close deals.

Who You Are

  • Proven sales leader with experience building and running high-performing mid-market sales teams.
  • Experienced to lead in a matrix organisation
  • Track record of success in new logo acquisition and hunting, ideally with manufacturing customers or direct experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and lead high-performance environments.
  • Growth mindset: resilient, curious, and motivated to build something extraordinary.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable sales strategies and processes.
  • Native German speaker with strong business English skills.
  • SaaS sales leadership experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working within an Open Source model.
  • Understanding of the German manufacturing landscape / background with a manufacturer and sales experience
