Revenue Operations Commission Analyst
SecurityScorecard is seeking a Commission Analyst to join our global Revenue Operations team. The Commission Analyst will be responsible for managing the commission payment process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in working with financial data. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate a high level of commitment and dedication to meeting deadlines through thorough and accurate reporting, as well as responsiveness to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute, with accuracy, the end-to-end sales commission process for all commissionable members of the organization (approximately 175 commission plans across six commission plan templates)
- Prepare and distribute commission reports to sales teams and executive management via CaptivateIQ.
- Ensure timely and accurate commission payments to eligible employees.
- Conduct regular audits of commission calculations to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Analyze commission data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Assist in budget forecasting and financial planning related to sales commissions.
- Perform ad hoc reporting using visualizations, including advanced Excel and BI Tools (such as Tableau).
- Lead the commission-related inquiries and issues process, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Revenue Operations leadership to address any concerns.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in commission administration. Experience working in a fast-paced finance, sales operations, or business analytics function is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Creative and logical problem-solving skills with an always curious mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and ad hoc reporting needs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply to management, colleagues, and external parties.
- Experience with administering and designing commission plans using compensation tools, including CaptivateIQ, Spiff, and/or Xactly is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced/expert-level Excel.
- Experience with analytics tools and BI Tools preferred.
- Experience with CRM tools, including Salesforce.com and Gainsight.

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
