As a Risk Operations Supervisor at Taskrabbit, you will play a crucial role in fighting fraud and managing overall risk to the marketplace. You'll be responsible for overseeing a specialized team dedicated to preventing and mitigating fraud-related risks. In addition to team engagement and development, your role will involve fostering ownership and accountability, providing continuous feedback, and championing customer satisfaction within the context of fraud and risk management.
What You'll Work On:Customer Obsessed:
- Lead a specialized team focused on fraud prevention and risk losses management, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Facilitate continuous learning and development opportunities for team members, emphasizing expertise in fraud detection, risk assessment, and effective mitigation strategies.
- Champion customer experience by acting as a liaison between the fraud prevention team and other departments, specifically Risk, Trust & Payments. Directly contributing to overall company gross margin by managing fraud and risk losses.
Insight/Metrics Driven:
- Demonstrate ownership and curiosity in addressing fraud-related concerns and risk challenges, utilizing metrics and insights to enhance fraud prevention and risk management strategies.
- Set clear expectations for the team, holding teammates accountable to KPIs that tie in to overall company OKRs and values.
- Establish a culture of continuous feedback in order to support a high-skill, high-trust team.
Trusted Resource:
- Closely follow current fraud trends and anticipate the needs of the business. Cascade this knowledge to the team on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to fraud prevention and risk management, maintaining alignment with overall business objectives.
- Suggest strategies and process improvements that both improve overall security posture and limit friction in daily operations.
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience, with 1 years experience working fraud prevention, trust and safety or risk roles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, emphasizing the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues related to fraud and risk losses efficiently, with a strategic mindset for senior supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong sense of ownership and disciplined curiosity, showcasing leadership qualities in taking responsibility for team performance, fraud prevention and risk management
- Empathetic communication skills, with a focus on building and leading a cohesive team. Ability to connect with both customers and team members on a personal level while ensuring effective communication across the organization.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering top-notch service while overseeing the quality and performance of the entire team.
- Professional working knowledge of common fraud platforms, and the ability to train others to develop a sharp instinct for rooting out fraud.
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The annual gross pay range for this position is $76,500 - $107,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
