RPA Business Systems Analyst Lead

MongoDB is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst Lead (Automations/RPA) to join the fast growing Center of Automation team under Business Systems. The individual will be responsible for leading a BSA team and documenting process design documents across various business units that are using a wide range of SaaS applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, Coupa, Conga, Concur, Xactly, etc) to enhance and accelerate automation efforts identified in our roadmap. You will help our partners reduce barriers to scale, freeing up time from manual and routine tasks to deliver on valuable initiatives.
Shift timing: 2PM-10PM IST Who You Are- 8+ years of total work experience, with 5+ years in RPA (preferably with UiPath)
- 3+ years of experience in leading a team of 3 BSAs or more
- Strong process assessment skills; adept at interviewing business stakeholders to understand upstream and downstream processes
- Proven ability in process prioritization and writing detailed RPA Process Design Documents (PDDs) including AS IS and TO BE process steps
- Experience in value chains/business domains relevant to the process, including defining strategies and delivering large projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical aspects to cross-functional partners
- Domain knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Finance, HR, Sales, Technical Services, and Security
- Wide range of knowledge of UiPath products and their capabilities, with a cursory understanding of new and emerging technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Data Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields, or 5+ years of equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset
- Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Lead and manage a team of BSAs, setting up their growth objectives and goals aligned with the company
- Support automation leaders and product managers in shaping and executing the overall automation and technology strategy and roadmaps
- Create process maps and Process Design Documents (PDDs) for handoff to the RPA development team, ensuring successful deployment
- Complete RPA assessments of business opportunities, including “as is” and “to be” process maps, project sizings, and recommended implementation approaches
- Develop strategies and recommendations for a phased UiPath-enabled solution roadmap, focusing on standardization on architecture, migration, and security
- Analyze complex requirements and gather critical information to develop process design specifications, estimation techniques, and requirement gatherings
- Partner with contributors and business systems to collaboratively complete project work and deliver timely solutions
- Manage internal customer relationships and expectations through a communication process that keeps others updated on project scope and requirements
- Map and translate business processes into understandable steps for developers to implement into UiPath automation
- Develop and maintain documents throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring business units and developers are aware of updates
- Collaborate closely with and manage large diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Implement performance management practices, including setting objectives, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews
- In 3 months: Understand the current internal RPA team processes, roadmap, and way of working. Begin managing the BSA team and setting up team goals and growth expectations
- In 6 months: Confidently present the RPA team roadshow to a wider audience and introduce automation to teams that have not yet heard of RPA
- In 12 months: Identify inefficiencies in the RPA lifecycle and propose strategies to overcome scaling barriers. Collaborate with teams to implement and optimize these strategies for enhanced efficiency and scalability
