Our Sales team manages the full sales cycle, helping prospects and existing customers leverage Mixpanel to analyze, measure, and improve their customer experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with sound business acumen, technical aptitude to grasp and explain technical concepts, great personality and natural sales instincts to join our sales teams as a Sales Development Representative. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a key part of our revenue organization to drive Mixpanel awareness and support our Sales team generating pipeline and influencing closed won opportunities. Your role will be focused on following

Bringing in New Business:

For leads generated across various channels through marketing activities, we’d like you to follow up on them to drive meetings booked. Your follow up cadence will include email, phone, linkedin touches to drive conversion for inbound leads. 

You will also own a target list of accounts that are of highest value (enterprise customers with more than 500+ employees). You will be responsible for researching and mapping and creating custom outreach to these accounts to drive meetings booked for initial discovery with the AEs. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of inbound leads into meetings booked and follow up on inbound leads via email, LinkedIn, phone within SLAs
  • Research defined Target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and engage with potential customers in our TAM
  • Conduct outbound activities to prospect, educate, and develop target accounts using our prospecting tools suite.
  • Partner with Account Executives to prioritize activities against a strategic target account list
  • Have immaculate SFDC hygiene to ensure efficient lead management and record-keeping while building and maintaining data integrity
  • Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimisation
  • Partner closely with account executives to build and iterate on strategies

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • 1-2 years of tenure as a BDR/SDR with substantial experience outbounding
  • Enterprise segment exposure, with proven record converting leads to discovery meetings
  • Experience using prospecting tools (Salesforce, Apollo, 6sense, Outreach, etc.)
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to produce messaging content using collaterals and customer stories
  • Growth-minded and desire to learn and develop in Sales processes

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors. If you have questions about the specific range, your recruiter can share this information.

Mixpanel Compensation Range$85,500—$104,500 USD
