If you're passionate about BESS tech, clean tech, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer success is the goal—this role is for you.As a Sales Engineer at TWAICE, you’ll play a pivotal role in the commercial cycle—bridging the gap between customer needs and TWAICE’s analytics capabilities. You will own technical pre-sales engagements with energy storage customers and ensure that proposed solutions are robust, scalable, and tailored to customer challenges.This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep technical knowledge of BESS systems with strong communication skills and a consultative mindset.

Your daily business will involve

  • Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with customers and prospects (IPPs, utilities, asset managers, integrators)
  • Translate customer use cases into viable solution designs using TWAICE’s Energy Storage Analytics Suite
  • Deliver high-quality product demos, technical deep-dives, and scoping engagements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders from engineering to executive level
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and influence roadmap
  • Support AE team in proposal development, RFP responses, and technical documentation
  • Guide new customers through technical onboarding and integration planning
  • Represent TWAICE at industry events and contribute to thought leadership content such as blogposts and webinars

Your profile

  • 5+ years in sales engineering, pre-sales, or technical customer success in energy, grid, or battery software, or industrial SaaS
  • Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid operations, or asset management
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with analytics, battery degradation, EMS platforms, or data infrastructure (SCADA, API integrations)
  • Background in energy markets (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, PJM) beneficial
