We are seeking a Solution Sales representative to join our team in London and part of our growing global sales team.

Adaptive's Solution Sales role is a key position to acquire new clients, requiring a proactive outreach attitude and strong domain knowledge in capital markets. 

YOU ARE: 

  • An experienced Sales Executive
  • Proactive and have experience in performing outreach
  • Experience working within the capital markets industry preferably in professional services

YOU WILL BE:

  • Performing industry and client research to identify potential leads.
  • Working closely with technical sales to create proposals, resource plans, and statements of work.
  • Partnering with other sales specialists to cross sell into other solutions or to professional services consulting
  • Responding to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and questionnaires
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance opportunities
  • Managing the sales lifecycle, from prospecting to negotiating and closing deals
  • Managing inbound inquiries and qualifying new business opportunities 
  • Running and participating in planning sessions to understand the prospect and how to best position proposals.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. 

YOU HAVE: 

  • Experience in sales in capital markets, preferably in software consulting and development.
  • A deep understanding of capital markets domain and structure is essential
  • An appreciation of technology in capital markets with a good understanding of technology in front-office trading platforms
  • A broad understanding of different asset classes in capital markets.
  • A strong network of decision-makers in the industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close large and complex deals
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to generate sales powerpoints and slides relevant for the target audience

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring, and that is not us 😉

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.2- A zoom or in person chat with two of our Sales colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your knowledge and your experience.3- A Final Chat with our CCO (either in our office or via Zoom). ​​During this interview, further questions will be asked. We will also ask you to prepare a (very) short exercise. The goal will be to understand your PowerPoint and presentation skills. 

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter. 

Here is a little tip for you during those stages:
