About the role:
As the only company to exclusively design, build and run in-house marketing agencies, OLIVER (part of the Inside Ideas Group) holds a unique position in the market. Its Data Team is no different. We’re arguably one of the fastest-growing agency data teams in London. As part of our growing team, we’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our central team, working across multiple accounts. The Senior Analyst joins at an exciting time as we to look to evolve our approach to understanding of our audiences and what experiences we design for them. This role will drive forward the use of data across social, search, survey and panel data sources to improve our overall capabilities and services that we offer.
What you will be doing:- Deliver best-in-class audience, category and market analytics that deliver robust insight and actionable learnings for various teams and practices, including but not limited to social management, creative, strategy and performance marketing.
- Interpret, interrogate and utilise data from various sources – social, search, survey, panel and 3rd party research – to build an integrated view of audiences and their needs, behaviours and attitudes.
- Bring together data from numerous sources to build audience segments, sub-cultures and rich profiles that inform what experiences and content we serve.
- Design, commission and evaluate the results of surveys to gather more insight and test hypotheses on our audiences and creative work.
- Carry out audits of client’s social channels to understand effectiveness and identify platform, content and audience insights recommendations.
- Lay the foundations and execute best in class social insight reporting including building measurement frameworks, social benchmarking, building report templates and defining strategic learnings / recommendations.
- Using social listening tools to track brand reputation, audiences and content to identify emerging cultural trends and opportunities.
- Using influencer tools to support in the evaluation of influencer performance through bespoke influencer measurement methodologies
- Act as the champion for our insight tools and associated products and services across the business.
- Collaborating closely with strategists, content, account management, social and performance teams to deliver insights that matter.
- Contribute to pitches and selling in cultural and audience intelligence practices to senior clients and internal stakeholders.
- Create insight and thought-leadership pieces based on audience, behaviours and trends.
- Own and develop relationships with key suppliers within our tech stack to maximise usage and effectiveness.
- Embed best practice measurement, reporting and insight generation at the heart of all our work.
- Foster a culture of learning and expertise within the Cultural and Audience Intelligence team by proactively organising learning sessions, training, and sharing industry updates.
- Manage a team of Analysts across numerous Insight product/service offerings across research and measurement disciplines.
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable and trained in delivering aspects of these services.Track Analyst utilisation and manage deliverables so the team and project are both efficient and hitting the brief.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- A strategic thinker with an innovative approach to data, pushing the boundaries of how data can be used to decode consumers more emotional needs
- Expert using social platforms such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, CreatorIQ and Sprinklr
- Extensive experience working within social teams and executions across organic, paid, influencer and earned
- Experience working with panel and survey providers such as Global Web Index, YouGov, Kantar
- Creating analytical solutions that aggregate and mine data from numerous sources to create richer audience views and segmentations, uncovering insights that drive future strategy
- Excellent communication / data storytelling skills, ability to distil complex ideas for non-technical audiences
- An active interest in behavioural science approaches and techniques – and how this can be delivered through data
- An active interest and understanding of AI marketing technologies and how they can be integrated into our practices
- Proactive ability to identify client insight needs and build tailored solutions accordingly
- Desire to continually learn and push the boundaries
- Extremely organised and confident in managing teams of remote individuals
- Confident and proficient in presenting to senior client and internal stakeholders
- Confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
