As a Senior External Reporting Manager within our global reporting team, based in London, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for working on various financial reporting projects. This will include working on automation projects, technical accounting and verification work on quarterly, interim and year end reporting, working closely with other stakeholders in the business. The role reports into the Finance Director. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead on the production of the Group’s annual report and interim reporting (half year and quarterly trading updates)
  • Lead on the provision of technical accounting advice under IFRS and FRS 101/102.  This advice should be in a way that is understandable and actionable by the business. 
  • Lead on the delivery of local statutory accounts globally ensuring compliant statutory financial statements are filed in line with local deadlines
  • Lead on the day to day liaison with the external auditors building a strong, transparent and proactive relationship with them
  • Support the continuous improvement of the financial reporting processes and controls
  • This role will manage a team of 2-3.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be ACA or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally at least 5 years post-qualification 
  • Strong UK public company external reporting skills, including IFRS and FRS 101 and 102 experience
  • Focussed on building strong relationship within the finance function and business 
  • Delivery technical support and being a sounding board for the Finance & Strategy and business teams as they develop new business propositions.
