We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst (People and G&A) to join HelloFresh’s Finance team.  In this role, you will be at the forefront of utilizing data to drive strategic decision-making, with a particular focus on owning and optimizing our headcount, analytics, and G&A planning process.

  • Take full ownership of the headcount planning and budgeting process across HelloFresh Canada. Collaborate with the People team to optimize existing processes, support the Senior Leadership Team in building staffing plans for budgeting, and explain budget vs actual variances;
  • Develop mechanisms to support headcount additions outside of the regular budgeting process, ensuring seamless collaboration with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams;
  • Build a plan to ensure visibility to headcount plans and budget available for the Senior leadership team, responsible for presentation and ownership of the process;
  • Own the end-to-end budgeting and management reporting of general and administrative expenses including travel and entertainment, property costs, and Learning & Development budgets. Work closely with budget owners and finance to reduce variances between budgets and forecasts;
  • Develop robust and automated tableau dashboards and reporting in partnership with the People Team that pull employee information from our various HR tools/systems. Use this data to provide regular updates on key People metrics, such as headcount changes, retention, performance, and diversity; 
  • Utilize data to present insights that inform company strategies. Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports that support various stakeholders within Finance, People and beyond;
  • Collaborate with Finance and the business to identify areas for process improvement and automation, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field, or the equivalent of 5+ years of experience with HR data analytics 
  • Excellent data analysis skills for building reporting/dashboards including a strong skill set in Tableau, Excel Macros, SQL and/or other BI platform
  • Experience with Adaptive and HRIS/Payroll software (Workday, Greenhouse, CultureAmp, ADP), is preferred. 
  • Strong project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environment
