Senior FP&A Analyst
The Role
As a Senior FP&A analyst you will be part of the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A (Nordics). In this role you will own and deliver initiatives across budgeting/ forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, modeling and business partnering. You will be required to collaborate with senior stakeholders across the (Nordics and Global) business as well as work closely with the local finance team.
We are looking for someone who is hands on, analytical, has strong initiative and a growth mindset to play a key role in the team, to deliver on the BAU processes and drive continuous improvement.
You will- Assist with the planning and execution of quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with the preparation of weekly / monthly financial reports to management
- Undertake in-depth variance analysis on financial results and articulate key insights
- Enhance and build new financial models and reports to streamline processes, drive efficiencies and increase visibility of numbers and their key drivers
- Leverage data tables through SQL scripts to drive automation and simplification of processes
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them within reasonable timeframes
- Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders across the Nordics business where you will support then on budgeting and expense tracking/ analysis, and other relevant projects
- Collaborate with the central FP&A / data teams to improve the accuracy of our forecasting and reporting
- Collaborate with the broader finance team, and provide support and guidance on financial reporting and month end close processes
- Assist in the evaluation of business cases for the senior management
- At least five years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
- A hands-on, driven, and proactive approach; takes ownership of work.

- Strong analytical skills, capable of working with large datasets to derive insights.

- Diligence, with a high level of attention to detail; constantly challenging numbers and validating outputs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to get into the details to solve problems.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging business metrics and drivers to build financial models from scratch.
- Intermediate-level SQL skills.
- Experience with Google (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel) products.
- Experience working in an FMCG or SaaS business is a plus.
