The Investment & Pension Products team is responsible for Raisin’s capital markets-based products. This includes a range of solutions from one of Germany’s largest robo advisors to a Private Equity offer.

While our core deposits business helps our customers earn interest with minimal risk, the Investment Products business is about helping customers earn the highest possible return for their risk tolerance.

The team owns the whole lifecycle from design and development through maintenance of the services at runtime. This includes modern and legacy services, while the team expects to have the legacy services replaced by Q1 2025.

The team is distributed across Europe, Africa, and India. We’re looking for a team lead with experience in leading remote teams.

Your Responsibilities

As an experienced Frontend Engineer: 

  • you will be delighting the customer by working on our customer-facing platform as well as building the internal tooling for Raisin’s operations teams
  • Together with your team you will own the design, implementation, and deployment of our applications
  • Part of your responsibilities will be guiding features from their implementation through to testing, refinement, and finally launch
  • Working closely with our product UX team to find practical and efficient solutions to complex problems is also part of your responsibilities 
  • You are actively participating in an agile and collaborative process in a cross-functional team with end-to-end ownership
  • Finally, you are responsible for continuously improving your team as well as yourself

Your Profile

  • University degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • You have been working as a professional Frontend Engineer
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • You have strong experience with React or similar Frameworks / Libraries
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components
  • Experience with Next.js, Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems and material-ui is a plus
  • You are comfortable participating in technical and architectural discussions
  • You are an open-minded and creative team player willing to continue creating our culture
  • Great English communication skills
