The Challenge  

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integrations Operations Engineer to join our BizTech team. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders and development teams to support our internal integrations. You will contribute to integrations and cloud environment stability and quality by troubleshooting production issues, maintaining runbooks, and fixing issues. You will also ensure operational excellence by managing CICD pipelines and deploying integrations.  

Your Mission 

  • Conduct issue research and forensics across our integrations platform and other systems to resolve data-related and integration issues.  
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to understand production issues, analyze system logs, and analyze root cause  
  • Create comprehensive documentation, focusing on run documents.  
  • Partner with business teams to understand systems like Salesforce, Workday, and Snowflake for troubleshooting and issue resolution.  
  • Monitor and maintain integration processes to ensure uptime, reliability, and performance, leveraging appropriate monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Coralogix).  
  • Enhance and optimize existing integrations through testing automation and continuous improvement processes.  
  • Create and maintain standards and documentation for operational processes with the team and our stakeholders.  
  • Create and maintain CICD Pipelines in Github Actions for the various integrations.  
  • Perform administration, maintenance and support to production systems (Mulesoft, Workday Integrations, AWS, CICD Tools)  

You Are (WIP)  

  

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)  
  • 3+ years of experience in system integration, DevOps, or a related engineering role, focusing on business outcomes, operational reliability, and system performance.  
  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workday Integrations, Boomi, Workato, Snaplogic or similar) in an operations or development capacity  
  • 2+ years of experience working logging, monitoring and alerting platforms such as Datadog, Coralogix, and Cloudwatch  
  • 1+ years of experience working in a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure  
  • Should have good working knowledge of cloud-based services such as topics, queues, file storage, serverless functions, and API gateways  
  • Experience with version control/source code repository tool Git and GitHub.   
  • Proficiency in using CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to create and manage pipelines  

  

Extra Awesome(WIP)  

  • Experience working directly in Mulesoft (Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Gateway )  
  • Prior experience working with Snowflake and Workday is a plus  
  • Experience in scripting with Python is a plus  
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Cloudformation  
  • Certification in integration platforms like Mulesoft Certified Developer or Workday Integration Specialist.  
  • Certification in cloud platforms like AWS or similar.  
  • Cross-team collaboration: working closely with developers, business, and management and need to be an effective communicator  
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Data Engineers look at an issue that needs to be solved and produce solutions quickly.  
  • Growth Learner: Desire to continue to learn about new technologies.
