The MongoDB Analyst Relations team is looking for a senior-level leader who has built their career in a wide variety of communications roles like public relations, marketing, product, or sales for technology brand(s) and has landed on influencer relations as the most strategic outlet for their knowledge, skills and interests.

This role requires close collaboration with a core set of influential tech industry analysts and other influencers to deliver strategic impact to the business and exceed corporate global awareness objectives.

You are passionate about building thought leadership and influencer programs that deliver value to our customers, our analyst community and our rapidly growing business. You are a skilled cultivator of influencer relationships and a valued and strategic advisor to internal executives and stakeholders who understand the business and can deliver insights to drive results.

This role can be based out of our New York or San Francisco office with hybrid and remote options available. Occasional travel will be required.

Your Role:
  • Develop Analyst Relations strategy and objectives that support the team’s goals and overall business priorities
  • Conduct regular cadence of quarterly strategic updates for influential analysts to share strategic outside-in insights with our executive team
  • Drive strategic big-picture roadmap sessions with analysts and stakeholders for long-term planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key analysts and research firms, ensuring MongoDB is accurately represented in industry evaluations and reports
  • Regularly engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to gather insights and update them on analyst feedback and industry trends
  • Coordinate and manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and feedback sessions
  • Utilize evaluations and reports to guide strategic planning and competitive positioning
  • Respond to analyst inquiries and ensure timely delivery of information requests
  • Plan and manage analyst-related events, including webinars, conferences, and one-on-one meetings
  • Monitor and report on analyst relations activities and outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed
We’re looking for someone with…..
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in analyst relations, public relations, or a similar role within the technology sector
  • 2+ years of analyst relations experience with strong existing global relationships at large firms, boutiques, and independent firms
  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and ability to grasp complex technical concepts
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with analysts and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to evangelize and educate internally and externally about our modern technology
  • Confident leader who can collaborate with a diverse set of C-level executives, leaders, and stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
  • Passion for networking and growing the partnership circle of highly-trusted influencers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and channels
  • Experience managing integrated communications campaigns in traditional or start-up environments
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and deliver innovative communication solutions that drive business objectives
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Subscribes to an “always learning” mentality for themselves and others - gives and receives feedback respectfully, fails forward, and seeks out opportunities for ongoing development

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$84,000—$165,000 USD
