Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy and Analytics

The North America & Europe Retail Tech & Analytics (NAEURTA) team plays a pivotal role in advancing Wayfair’s commercial strategy by delivering innovative tools, insights, and processes that optimize supplier engagement and catalog performance.
As a Senior Manager on the NAEURTA Tech & Reporting team, you will lead the charge in aligning supplier and category management tools with our commercial agenda, ensuring business goals are met efficiently and effectively. Your work will involve setting strategy, spearheading process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute on key initiatives that have executive-level visibility. This role offers a unique vantage point to drive impactful change at the intersection of technology, data, and business strategy.

What You'll Do
- Partner with Global Category Management teams to create and execute strategies for assortment optimization, ensuring tools like the Assortment Hub remain accurate, usable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Provide analytics to close assortment gaps, enhance selection, and improve key metrics like findability.
- Own the target-setting process for global Category Management by collaborating with executive leadership, general managers, and central teams to define, track, and adjust business targets.
- Maintain real-time dashboards and reporting systems to monitor performance, identify risks, and ensure leadership has actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Category Management leadership to implement scalable improvements to internal tools, such as Waystation, that enhance supplier engagement and team efficiency.
- Advocate for long-term, strategic tech solutions that align with Wayfair’s growth priorities and provide sustainable benefits for the organization.
- Partner with Marketing teams to improve visibility into traffic drivers, diagnose underperformance, and surface opportunities for growth.
- Manage reporting needs and execution for high priority company initiatives such as the Frequency workstream, while addressing ad-hoc reporting needs and proactively surfacing insights for emerging opportunities.

- Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, category management, or a related role.
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
