The Enablement Operations Team 

The Enablement Operations team oversees Okta’s Global Field Enablement operations, planning, program management, technology, and analytics functions.

The Sr. Manager, Field Enablement Systems Opportunity 

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Enablement Operations, you’ll be the team manager and system expert responsible for driving adoption, value, and insights across OKTAs enablement platforms including Highspot and WalkMe. You’ll build, evolve, manage and maintain critical enablement platforms to enable OKTA’s customer-facing teams with the right content, knowledge, process, and tools to maximize sales growth and customer impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Enablement Platform Ownership: Drive the overall adoption and utilization of enablement platforms, instilling sound governance across the GTM organization, general administration to ensure strong and consistent platform health, training/evangelism, and incorporating/distilling feedback.
  • Drive the enablement platform portfolio as a strategic component for supporting ongoing GTM programs.
  • Lead the organization of content creators through the building and maintenance of metadata and taxonomies to meet current and future customer and business needs. Partner with cross-functional leads to drive alignment and ensure consistency across teams.
  • Provide appropriate enablement system training for the organization.
  • Content Architecture: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive enablement content architecture, ensuring seamless accessibility and effective utilization by the sales team.
  • Content Performance Analysis & Optimization: Conduct in-depth analyses of content performance, leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategy and decision-making.
  • Content Management: Oversee the entire content lifecycle with a focus on strategic planning, governance, creation, editing, approval, publishing, and retirement.
  • Innovation in Content Delivery: Lead the exploration and implementation of cutting-edge content delivery methods for sales teams to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
  • Training and Support: Train enablement teams on how to design and build content to utilize best-practices and deliver high quality experiences to the sales teams.
  • Standardization: Create and document standard processes, policies and templates with use cases and best practices.
  • System Management: Manage all system upgrades, enhancements, and customizations to maintain and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize field feedback and information gained through platforms to execute on continuous improvements and inform business-level decision making.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 8+ years of experience in platform, knowledge and content management for Field Enablement teams.
  • MUST be an expert with Highspot (i.e. you have owned Highspot at a previous company). 
  • 3+ years of true people management experience.
  • Proven experience managing enablement systems (Highspot, WalkMe, Gong, Circle HD, Scribe, LMS Platforms).
  • Passion for and championship of content transformation, organization and optimal user experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading content strategy initiatives and managing complex content projects.
  • Understanding of sales processes and how enablement content contributes to sales success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sharp critical thinking and analytical skills to measure and optimize content effectiveness.
  • Self-reliant and capable of quickly solving problems and resolving conflicts at various levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Experience in high-growth environments with an understanding of how to navigate organizational change efforts.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$146,000—$220,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $164,000—$246,000 USD
