About the Team

Crunchyroll’s Security team is focused on partnering with teams across the organization to provide secure solutions and protect company assets as we serve the Anime community. We provide Security, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and Network Infrastructure services to the enterprise. Everyday we have an opportunity to make a positive impact while being at the center of innovative initiatives. About The Role

Our team is looking for someone with the skills to maintain and enhance our network infrastructure. A specific focus will be to develop a secure, scalable, and stable network architecture. This role will be responsible for ensuring we are designing and evolving technologies in consideration of employee needs, supporting long-range strategy, cross-functional projects, and initiatives across Crunchyroll globally. This role will require a strong partnership across Crunchyroll’s teams as well as third party contractors, and suppliers.

About You:

• You have 8+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• You have experience designing and supporting complex  global network architectures.
• You have expertise in routing protocols.
• You have experience with AWS, GCP, and other cloud network architectures.
• You have experience managing Next-Generation Firewalls, VPN solutions, and other network technologies.
• You have experience implementing and maintaining wireless environments
• You have experience building out and expanding office space.
• You are data driven and have a strong attention to detail.
• You enjoy diving into the details, formulating a plan, and communicating that plan at the strategic as well as detailed levels as required across the organization.
• You enjoy building strong relationships at all levels in the company, and to convert priorities and values into actionable solutions. 

• You see the big picture, envision a long-term strategy and define a roadmap to success.
• You are comfortable with doing hands-on work as you build your team and as needed afterward.
• You have demonstrated experience maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization and with a variety of external constituents.
• You successfully prioritize and complete large projects with minimal direction in a globally distributed environment.
• You approach work with a positive and collaborative attitude.

A Day in the Life

• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to interpret business needs and align on network infrastructure design and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with controls and regulatory requirements including PCI, SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and other required controls as needed.
• Demonstrating advanced knowledge of security principles and control frameworks
• Managing multiple projects, priorities, and reporting requirements
• Working independently in a highly organized way
