As a Supply Operations lead, you will play a key role in the market: you will be the ultimate owner for optimizing key operations performance indicators across several regions in the country.. Your role will be directly responsible for improving Customer and Couriers’ experience across their whole journey, making them grow and improve user experience. This role will require a mix of analytical skills, operations, stakeholder management, and creativity to tackle different challenges.

Glovo offers an exciting opportunity for a data-focused, analytical professional who obsesses over details and is always looking for how to improve the performance of our couriers and partners (food and grocery). You will have access to unlimited data to facilitate creative decision-making and cooperate with a world-class team that can turn your recommendations for the country’s operations into an efficient reality.

This role is for a senior leader within Glovo’s Operations team, dedicated to enhancing the experience of our couriers and partners while optimizing overall delivery operations. You can be based in Madrid, Sevilla or the Canary Islands.

THE JOURNEY

  • Analyse data obsessively to identify trends and build successful implementation strategies for our operations in our key cities.
  • Improving and contributing to the upgrading of the delivery time, the efficiency of the courier, as well as the efficiency of delivery’s costs of your region.
  • Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing by working cross-functionally with colleagues from local team and HQ to execute impactful projects and foster a culture of learning.
  • Assessment of strategic opportunities, performance of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Implementation, standardization and execution of processes in all cities
  • Support with special projects from risks assessments to potential forecast of any opportunities (e.g. competitors analysis, ROI of budget increase/reinvestment)
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Develop and mentor team leads, fostering a high-performance culture and growing top talent.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and professional development of local talent.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 4+ years experience; background in high-growth tech startups, operations, marketplaces, consulting or similar industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Statistics or related field. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SQL and Excel is a must.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience managing stakeholders in a matrix organization, or deploying projects across multiple countries, is a plus.
