In this role, you will take on a key responsibility in Philippine payroll, labor laws and have a better understanding of Philippine taxation on compensation. You will be responsible for an end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring strict compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security Systems (SSS), Pag-Ibig Fund (HDMF), PhilHealth (PHIC) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations. The candidate is also expected to be an employee who can resolve disputes and concerns in a timely manner, contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

End to End Payroll Processing: 

  • Execute semi-monthly payroll processing (every 10th and 25th of the month), including the accurate calculation and processing of regular earnings, overtime, holiday pay, night differential, 13th-month pay, bonuses, leave conversions, and final pay.
  • Create, validate, and upload bulk payroll files and system imports using the Sprout Payroll software (or other designated systems). 
  • Ensure timely disbursement of salaries through employee bank accounts and manage the end-to-end reconciliation of all payroll accounts.  

 Statutory & Tax Compliance:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the Philippine Labor Code and internal company policies related to employee compensation and benefits. 
  • Ensure full compliance and accurate remittance reporting to the BIR, SSS, Philhealth, Pagibig (HDMF) and DOLE. 
  • Assist the Team Lead with mandatory annualization activities (e.g., BIR Form 2316) and year-end reporting requirements.  

Employee Support & Audit: 

  • Handles the face-to-face inquiries of employees at Inoza, BGC Taguig site with regards to payroll information, payout, and any related payroll data ensuring timely and professional resolution of payroll disputes and discrepancies. 
  • Assist employees with statutory requirements (e.g., HDMF loan applications and Payroll Account Opening)
  • Maintain complete, secure, and accurate payroll records and support documentation in compliance with filing retention policies.
  • Perform regular audits of payroll reports, imports, and processes to minimize errors and support internal and external audit requirements.  

Management Support: 

  • Prepare detailed payroll and labor reports for the Payroll Team Lead, Finance Manager, Accountants, and HR Leaders as required. 
  • Support management in analyzing payroll data and performing any ad-hoc reporting or process assistance needed. 
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time. 

What you’ll bring

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent is an advantage  
  • Experience working in a BPO, multinational environment is a plus 
  • Experience with Payroll software (Oracle, Workday, Sprout, ADP) is an advantage  
  • With at least 4 years of Philippine Payroll calculation and Annualization  
  • Customer focused, interpersonal skills  
  • Good Problem Solving skills and highly analytical  
  • Organized on Data Retention and Data Confidentiality  
  • Willing to render overtime when necessary  
  • 100% Onsite schedule, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM  
  • Hybrid can be offered after regularization depending on the performance level
