Senior People Operations Specialist
As part of the People Operations Team, you will deliver the best possible experience to SumUppers and empower leaders. We do this by relentlessly striving for excellence when designing solutions, and we do it in a caring and collaborative way.
We’re looking for a Senior People Operations Partner to help us optimise the hiring and contract extension process in Italy, build strong relationships with Sales and other areas' stakeholders in Milan, and gain a clear understanding of their needs
What you’ll do
- Responsible for all aspects of end-to-end employee lifecycle - including but not limited to onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding for all employees & contractors across Italy
- Focus on optimising & automating Field Sales hiring in Italy, establishing key processes according to local regulations, but in line with global workflows and practices
- Guidance & consultation on employee matters like parental leave, maternity leave, benefits, relocations & transfers, etc.
- Supporting People partners with local knowledge on complex employee life cycle processes independently (e.g., terminations)
- Ensuring records, contractual changes, and other people-related documentation are processed & up-to-date at all times, allowing for a smooth payroll process
- Continuously improving and automating the processes to ensure the best employee experience
- Identify any compliance risks and resolve them.
- Continue to set up the processes in Italy to be scalable
You’ll be great for this role if
- Strong, proven understanding of Italian Labour law regulation, tax regulation, and social security requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex situations, combining both data challenges as well as collaboration with individual SumUppers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Attention to detail and persistence in solving issues
