Senior Producer, Contract
As a Freelance Senior Producer, you are central to successfully turning a vision into reality. You bring experience following a production through from ideation to completion, and you understand every step it takes in between to get to the finish line. Just a few minutes with a script, and you are able to translate that in to production resourcing requirements, realize areas of watchout & opportunity, estimate how long the project will take, and how much it will to cost with a production partner.
During procurement you work directly with your business manager and cost consultants to negotiate vendor bids and execute production contracts, and your finance team to manage client estimates and vendor POs. During production you remain in constant communication with your internal team and production partners, define and manage all internal hours and 3rd party costs, and maintain a detailed production and post schedule.
You have experience managing all aspects of post-production, including editorial, animation, VFX and sound design, and you know how to bring the right suite of post-production partners and talent to the table to get it all done on time and within budget. You remain calm and collected when production challenges arise, focusing on rallying your team and bringing solutions to the table. The trust you’ve built within your team allows you to rein in other teams when necessary, and clients know you as a production expert and trusted advisor.
