The Global Support Team

Job purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead initiatives that enhance internal IT support and workplace experience at Okta. In this role, you'll drive complex, high-impact projects from initiation through completion—ensuring alignment with strategy, stakeholder expectations, and measurable outcomes.

You will manage project planning, execution, and delivery across a portfolio of Global Support initiatives, serving as a central point of coordination and accountability. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership to ensure consistent delivery, clear communication, and meaningful results.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Translate business goals into actionable project plans with clear milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across teams including IT, Security, Real Estate, and Facilities.
  • Manage project risk, scope, change control, and stakeholder communications.
  • Apply strong organizational and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to ensure success.
  • Track project metrics and outcomes to ensure measurable value and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advocate for Global Support in enterprise-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of dynamically responsible experience in project management.
  • Relevant combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform leading projects.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading the delivery of projects for multiple team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leader, who is self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and organized.
  • Experience in risk identification, assessment of unintended effects of project changes, and risk avoidance or mitigation.
  • Strong familiarity with Atlassian products, specifically Jira and Confluence.
