This opportunity will offer you the chance to develop your own expertise and be the thought leader in Luxury & Fashion and Consumer Lifestyle topics, with the opportunity to influence the world’s largest consumer brands and advertising agencies.

What you will be doing:1. Publishing in-depth insights combining market research and consumer analysis•    Work with Category Directors to write and publish 7–8 reports a year focused on Luxury & Fashion and Consumer Lifestyle, including luxury goods, luxury consumer insights, fashion consumption trends, marketing strategies and lifestyle convergence.•    Gather and analyze primary and secondary data, including market performance, company strategies, segmentation and consumer survey data, to generate accurate and forward-looking insights.•    Gather primary and secondary data relevant to each market, and work with Category Directors to develop accurate market, company and segmentation data•    Build relationships with industry contacts to understand the key issues influencing consumers, innovation and company strategy, identifying the most relevant issues to explore in consumer research•    Meet tight publication deadlines2. Representing Mintel and delivering client service•    Support Category Directors in handling client service requests related to Luxury & Fashion and lifestyle topics.•    Partner with commercial colleagues to proactively share Mintel’s insights with clients & prospects through data pulls, presentations and workshops.•    Represent Mintel at industry events, webinars and media opportunities, building our brand presence in the luxury & fashion space.

Who we are looking for:•    Insights-led: You have at least 4 years of experience in consumer research, marketing, consulting, or directly in the luxury/fashion industry, with proven expertise in market dynamics and consumer behavior.•    Client-facing: Confident and mature in engaging with clients, with strong presentation and communication skills to deliver insights clearly, persuasively and with impact.•    Culturally observant: You are sensitive to cultural shifts, trends and aesthetics shaping luxury and fashion consumption in China, with the ability to translate these observations into business-relevant insights.•    Luxury & Fashion enthusiast: Passionate about luxury and fashion, with strong awareness of brand moves, cultural trends and consumer values, and able to translate this passion into sharp, business-relevant insights.•    Analytical & logical: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to craft clear narratives out of complex data.•    Business-minded: You understand how insights can guide brand strategies, marketing decisions and innovation in the luxury & fashion industry.•    Organized & reliable: Strong project management skills to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
