Elastic is seeking a motivated Senior Sales Development Representative to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. The Senior SDR will play a pivotal role in identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities within Enterprise accounts in Japan. This role is aligned with two strategic Account Executives and is central to our growth strategy, uncovering and capitalizing on new and expansion opportunities within existing accounts' subsidiaries.

To excel as a Senior Sales Development Representative at Elastic, you should possess a talent for rapidly building trust, gaining customer insights, and translating needs into compelling product value stories.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Partner with Account Executives to build our sales pipeline and grow our business by identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities in the Japanese market.
  • Engage customers through a broad spectrum of channels, nurturing inbound leads, and launching thoughtful multi-touch outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Collaborate with diverse team members to craft robust strategies to meet or exceed sales goals and surface new high-value opportunities.
  • Provide timely advice on the Elastic product suite; responding to customer inquiries and new market opportunities.
  • Maintain a pulse on market trends, keeping informed on competing products and industry advancements to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
  • Proactively research, qualify, and follow through on new leads to drive deals to closure, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Record and maintain accurate activity and forecast details in Salesforce to ensure real-time visibility of sales performance.
  • Continually develop your customer map, understanding the interplay and dynamics within customer organizations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • At least 3+ years of successful track record in Sales Development roles, preferably in the SaaS space supporting enterprise complex B2B sales.
  • A technologically curious mindset coupled with strong business acumen and a creative, problem-solving approach.
  • A proven ability to engage and contribute to a matrixed sales framework, influencing successful outcomes beyond direct areas of control.
  • A driven, results-oriented professional with a knack for efficiency and enhancing sales pipeline development.
  • Eagerness to operate in an ambitious environment, thriving as a self-motivated and standout individual.
  • Experience working with a distributed team, valuing diversity and inclusivity, and exhibiting the capability to collaborate effectively across various cultures and geographies
  • We are looking for Conversational English and Native level Japanese.
