Payments is key for any healthy marketplace, and is just as central to our product at Airbnb. The Payments org at Airbnb is responsible for everything related to settling money in Airbnb’s global marketplace. We build technology that powers Airbnb’s massive daily transaction volume to collect payments from guests, distribute payouts to hosts and everything in between. Our goal is to make the Payment experience on Airbnb as delightful, magical, intuitive, and easy as possible.

Within Payments, Payins is a full stack team responsible for all aspects of the guest payment experience - generating quotes, onboarding new payment methods to allow guests to pay us in their preferred method of payment, and enabling self-serve methods to answer questions about their upcoming and previous payments. As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Payins team, you will help shape the long-term technical vision for the user experiences and backend systems that power money movement at Airbnb. You will also collaborate with our partners and stakeholders across Airbnb, such as Guest & Host and Pricing, to execute on highly visible launches - like Buy Now Pay Later and Pay By Bank.
Incentives and Stored team serves as the architects behind the multifaceted platforms driving growth and economic campaigns at Airbnb. One of our core focuses lies in crafting innovative solutions that harness the potency of incentives such as discounts, coupons, and credits to propel the company's growth trajectory. In addition, we are spearheading the development of an expansive stored value platform designed to efficiently manage users' stored values, such as credits and cash, as well as its integrations with third-party reward systems such as airline points. Our mission is to empower Airbnb to leverage the power of incentives & stored value to fuel supply & demand, reward engagement, and drive stickiness to our platform.
