Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is hiring for a dedicated Sr. Transportation Manager to join our growing team! This full-time exempt position reports directly to the Senior Director of Logistics, based in Aurora with 25% travel between our Chicagoland sites, as the Sr. Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for leading a fleet of supervisors, drivers, and dispatchers. While it is the ultimate responsibility of the team to ensure that drivers are set up for success before starting their route each day, your primary responsibility is establishing and maintaining an operating platform that guarantees effective execution. As the main point of contact for our vehicle vendor, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment is in proper working order in preparation for freight movement between our facilities.

- Effectively lead a team of supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to ensure safety policies and procedures are upheld, and that minimum performance is met and exceeded
- Set, manage, and track goals for your operation and direct reports, effectively utilizing and developing KPIs to assist
- Manage relationships with our equipment vendors, including invoices, maintenance, etc
- Continuously work on process improvement to improve planned to unplanned load ratio
- Quickly action issues in the field and exercise sound judgment in resolving operational problems
- Build a strong workplace culture and relationships with all staff, delivering on retention goals
- Interview, recruit, onboard, and train truck drivers to ensure the best talent and a fit with Company DNA

You have...
- 6+ years of experience in a logistics management role
- 4+ years of experience managing truck drivers preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, diploma or GED required
- Highly comfortable navigating the area
- Mastery of Google Maps to ensure an on-time delivery experience for each customer
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and adept at analyzing metrics
- Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time
- Occasional movement around the office may be necessary
- Regular work with computers, including keyboards and screens
- Regular use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
- Able to work in cold temperatures and refrigerated environments
