We are now looking for a Senior React Web developer to join us on a full-time basis. You will be joining a large project team that is currently in the process of building an auction and trading platform for a large US Bank. 

YOU ARE: 

• A person with a strong desire to raise the bar for your team technically
• Tenacious, curious, and collaborative in all aspects of your work
• A quick learner with excellent communication skills

YOU HAVE: 

• Extensive knowledge of building application front ends, particularly with React
• Knowledge in building applications for financial services products
• Typescript production experience; A preference for Typescript over Javascript
• A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, the DOM, and how it all comes together in the browser.
• Practical knowledge of modern web tooling - build tools, package managers, styling engines, web framework landscape, etc.
• Proficiency with client-side debugging tools (Chrome Developer Tools, React Devtools) as a means of improving performance

YOU WILL: 

• Build greenfield financial applications alongside your Adaptive colleagues
• Use the latest technology to create elegant and robust solutions
• Contribute to building and releasing quality software on time
• Use your knowledge to build great-looking, event-driven, and highly interactive interfaces
• Collaborate with server-side developers, user-experience designers, and business analysts
• Participate in a test-driven, agile environment

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring, and that is not us 😉

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.2- A zoom chat with one of our React developer colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your knowledge and your experience3- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). ​​We will dig even deeper during this interview, and you will have a pair programming task to do. 

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.

Base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package. Pay is based on candidate skills and experience.New York pay range$160,000—$185,000 USD
