About the role

As a SEO & Backlink Content Developer Intern, you will be responsible for building a robust network of backlinks to enhance the visibility and authority of our curriculum. You’ll work closely with other members of our talented Content team as well as with the Marketing, Media, and Growth Engineering team to improve the awareness of our library of content through effective SEO and backlink strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a backlink strategy to improve search engine rankings.
• Identify and collaborate with relevant websites, blogs, and influencers to acquire high-quality backlinks.
• Monitor and analyze backlink performance
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize course content.
• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure alignment with overall SEO strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and backlink building.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed education in marketing, data or similar fields 
• Understanding of SEO principles and backlink building strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong technical as well as analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of online communities where technical discussions occur, such as Stack Overflow, Reddit, and relevant blogs.
• Is comfortable programming in Python and SQL
• Possibly, experience in web scraping.
