The Role

As an SEO Intern at SumUp, you’ll have the opportunity to build foundational skills in marketing and SEO. Working alongside our SEO and Content team, you’ll support our efforts to enhance SumUp’s online visibility.

This role offers hands-on experience with keyword research, content optimization, and SEO tools. You’ll also help us expand our presence on visual search channels, like Pinterest and Unsplash, and help us connect with small business owners worldwide. Your contributions will make SumUp’s content more accessible, impactful, and easy to find.

What you’ll do

• Conduct keyword research, content optimization, and competitor analysis to improve search rankings.
• Assist in content creation and management across various platforms, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to track and analyze website performance.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements, such as meta titles, descriptions, and header tags, to enhance search visibility.
• Collaborate on projects involving new SEO channels like Pinterest and Unsplash
• Contribute to digital PR efforts, off-page SEO strategies, and conversion rate optimization.
• Help with content publishing and perform basic SEO analysis to track and suggest improvements.
