Role: Shopper Activation Studio Manager  (Permanent)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Working form our London offices 2 days a week)

 

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic Shopper Activation Studio Manager to oversee our Point of Sale (POS) creative production team within our UK studio. This role combines creative leadership with technical expertise, focusing on delivering high-quality artwork across print and digital channels. The ideal candidate will champion innovation, including AI and automation technologies, while maintaining exceptional creative standards and team leadership. 

What you will be doing:

Creative Leadership & Team Management 

  • Lead and inspire a team of up to 10 creative artworkers, Integrated designer and Quality control specialist. Driving quality, efficiency, and creativity to optimise team performance
  • Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and team scheduling
  • Mentor team members in technical skills and professional development
  • Support and train new team members and freelance resources
  • Work closely with Account Director and Project Lead 
  • Escalate any issues to AD and PL 

Technical Production, Quality Assurance & Workflow 

  • Oversee creation of POS materials and digital assets according to brand guidelines
  • Ensure consistent quality across all deliverables. Maintaining QC standards
  • Lead technical implementation of extensive artwork toolkits
  • Champion adoption of new technologies and automation processes
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements
  • Flag and resolve quality issues promptly
  • Explore and implement AI and automation technologies
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Proven track record in creative team leadership with large teams
  • Extensive experience in POS material production
  • Knowledge of U.K. POS On Trade, Off Trade and digital formats
  • Understanding of the U.K. FMCG market. BWS category is advantageous  
  • Strong background in print and digital artwork creation
  • Experience in managing artwork toolkits and brand guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability in process optimisation
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Superior communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive approach to innovation and efficiency
  • Creative ideation skills
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
