Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Software Engineer I at our facility in Boston, Massachusetts, for design and implementation of Pet Health platform using micro-services, Java, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

What You’ll Do: 

• Design and build reusable, secure and performant micro services on a scalable AWS platform.
• Work in an agile Test-Driven development environment, collaborating across multiple application development teams.
• Telecommuting permitted.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology or a related field, and 1 year of experience.
• Will also accept a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience.
• Experience or coursework must include: Software Engineering;
• Core Java, Spring and SpringBoot or equivalent frameworks;
• Adherence to Test-Driven development practices;
• Docker, Kubernetes and similar technologies;
• DevOps;
• Jenkins;
• Relational and non-relational database; and
• Agile development process.
• Experience must include: Junit;
• Commerce and/or Healthcare IT experience; and
• Cloud solutions for AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
• Telecommuting permitted.
