You’ll get to play a key role in shaping and guiding the team that is building Toast’s mobile app for restaurant employees - the platform where they engage with their schedule, pay and team management.  The MyToast mobile app delivers daily value to its users and is the main platform Toast has to engage with restaurant employees.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Work with fellow developers, product managers, designers, and user researchers to build amazing mobile features with a goal of increasing our consumer footprint at Toast
• Flex your mobile muscles with challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive, collaborative team environment
• Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code reviews
• Ship code that has a massive impact on the growth of Toast
• Experiment directly with restaurant employees for quick feedback on features and projects
• Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life-cycles

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• Experience working on consumer iOS applications and an understanding of modern app frameworks
• Track record of delivering high impact features
• Experience and interest in coaching and mentoring more junior engineers
• You know how to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance through logging and metrics
• You’re hungry to learn and willing to take on challenging projects

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$88,000—$141,000 CAD
