This role involves spearheading the platform's design, architecture, and scaling to support advanced analytics and AI/ML tools, aiming to personalize the Qualtrics experience and highlight data as a key value proposition. The ideal candidate crafts simple solutions for complex customer problems, builds resilient systems, and owns quality. This role demands technical expertise, strategic vision, and hands-on leadership, collaborating with various teams to drive innovation in enterprise-scale data infrastructure.   How You’ll Find Success

How You’ll Grow
  • Build scalable, fast, robust, and simple SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with containerization and full-stack development.
  • Implement new functionality from requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, tech-ops, and product managers.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team to implement, tune, and productize cutting-edge machine learning models.
  • Build and maintain highly scalable data pipelines for complex, multi-modal data.
  • Learn Agile methodologies: attend daily stand-ups, prioritize tasks, and meet delivery schedules.

Things You’ll Do
  • Focus on the development of SaaS Software and build, distribute, scale and operate these services.
  • Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance.
  • Work closely with and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers.
  • Lead and engage in design reviews, architectural discussions, requirement definitions and other technical activities in diverse capacity
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
  • 2-5 years working in a software engineering position.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Has worked with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting end-user features.
  • Has developed scalable, fast, robust, and rich web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, using the latest frontend and backend technologies.
  • Strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background.
  • Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems.
  • Experience building large-scale distributed data pipelines and/or large-scale ML systems.

  • This team builds core machine learning infrastructure and services.
  • We identify business needs and define strategies where Qualtrics can most benefit from AI technologies.
  • We stay on top of the latest AI technologies and apply the state of the art to customer business problems.
  • We conduct ML modeling with deep expertise and rigor, including model selection, training, fine-tuning, customization, explainability, and evaluation.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
