The Role
The Monetization & Billing team is looking for a software engineer focused on improving our core billing and packaging system. Our team interfaces with almost every department at the company on one of the highest priority projects at Pantheon: completely revamping how people pay for and use our product. You will work on a variety of technologies, whether that is custom Go services, our GraphQL gateway, or building out new systems using Google Cloud.
What you Need to Succeed
- Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack.
- Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward.
- Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable.
- Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
What you Bring to the Table
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience with RESTful and Graphql APIs
- Proven ability to independently solve problems and drive projects to completion.

The Canadian base salary range for this position is 103,206 - 129,008 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
