So what is a Solution Architect at Similarweb?

As a Solution Architect you’ll act as a strategic advisor and technical partner, connecting Similarweb’s unique digital data set to our clients’ business objectives through powerful data storytelling. 

The SA role is a client-facing position within the Go to Market function and you’ll have the opportunity to directly advise the biggest companies in Europe on their digital strategy. SAs collaborate with departments including Sales, Advisory Services, DaaS, Marketing and Product to help accelerate the path to insights and client actionability using Similarweb’s data. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the value-based cycle of the sales process.
  • Acting as a pre-sales product expert for both internal and external stakeholders across Similarweb’s platform and advanced data solutions. 
  • Speaking to potential & existing customers to deeply qualify fundamental business needs, objectives and pain points. 
  • Analyze Similarweb’s data to generate actionable insights, transforming findings into compelling presentations and concise insight emails.
  • Data storytelling through presenting insight centric decks and live product demonstrations
  • Contributing to global GTM 
  • Run initiatives including trials, outreach programmes and sales enablement in your market
  • Collaborating with Sales Managers on pitches and RFPs  
  • Be the voice of the market by understanding market trends and prospect needs for product roadmap strategy. 
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of scalable and efficient processes that enhance operational workflows and support client success. 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Team Manager of Solutions Architects, based in London.

 What we are looking for: 

  • 3+ years of experience working in a client facing role using digital data in a solution orientated capacity 
  • Experience partnering with Sales Managers in building customized solutions to support new sales and upsells
  • Work directly with clients to establish value (workshops, decks, business question-led analysis, structured trials, ROI calculations, etc)
  • Experience producing high-quality client-facing materials
  • Experience demonstrating value through storytelling via a digital interface
  • A strategic thinker with the proven ability to identify opportunities, formulate supporting business cases and gain support from stakeholders
  • Strong foundational understanding of web traffic, digital marketing, and competitive intelligence data. 
  • The ability to interpret and leverage digital data to drive insights and recommendations. 
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
