You will be an essential part of this mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges and serve as the trusted technical advisor for your customers.

You will work directly with technical and business leaders on their Data and AI strategy and the execution of it, using your skills to demonstrate the value of Databricks as a platform. You'll work with a cross-regional, collaborative, customer-focused team in partnership with our different internal departments, wider teams and partners.

You will directly report to the Continental Field Engineering Leader. The location for this position is Paris, France.

The impact you will have:

  • Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
  • Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks. You will develop into a 'champion' and trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation to lead to the successful adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help build the Databricks community in your region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Grow your expertise to the level of a technical and industry specialist.

 

What we look for:

  • You ideally have 8+ years of experience working with clients, creating a narrative, aligning the agenda based on business priorities, and achieving tangible outcomes.
  • You are experienced in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences requiring an ability to context switch in levels of technical depth.
  • You are proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
  • Good to have: Cloud certification from AWS, Microsoft or GCP or relevant experience
  • Databricks experience/ certifications are a bonus
  • Coding expertise in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala). Foundational understanding of Apache Spark architecture is preferable, hands-on skills will be advantageous for the role.
  • Flexible to travel for customer meetings and internal events/trainings (up to 20-30%).
  • Fluent in French.
