YOUR MISSION
Glovo is built on the belief that, by giving amazing service to our partners, we will be able to change the on-demand delivery market.
How are we doing this? By thinking big and paying attention to small details. Glovo’s core product is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the best restaurants in each city and delivery in less than 60 minutes. We believe though that most restaurants and stores will opt for a strategy that combines marketplaces with their own channels, and we want Glovo On-Demand to be the number one choice for all of our partners’ deliveries.
To achieve this, Glovo launched Glovo On-Demand in 2022, a new vertical that helps our partners deliver orders created in their own sales channels (website, phone, application).
In this position you will be supporting primarily our team in Spain, performing both account management and sales responsibilities. You will spend significant time in direct contact with partners and should be able to understand complex topics and express them clearly and concisely in verbal and written communication.
THE JOURNEY
- Business Development: You will be in charge of building relationships with e-commerce potential partners (Groceries, Electronics, Beauty, Pharma, Fashion, Jewelry, Sports, Home & Deco, Pets, Flowers, etc), uncovering their business's true needs, and recommending the right products and services. You will engage with eCommerce managers and follow up with them during the decision-making process.
- Partnership Building: Forge and nurture robust relationships with top-tier partners within the e-commerce sector, while actively pursuing new collaborations to expand our network.
- Industry Mapping: Establish a comprehensive external stakeholder map within the industry, positioning Glovo On-Demand as a key player and fostering strategic alliances.
- Stakeholder management: You will collaborate daily with both internal and external stakeholders, establishing and maintaining good customer relations.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Management and/or Business Development.
- Creative problem solver, data-driven, analytical.
- Project management skills, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Stakeholder management.
- Ability to understand complex needs and translate between partners and technical teams. Comfortable working with technical product and API integration teams plus an understanding of operational metrics.
- Accountability and ownership for partnerships - can understand the entire environment and identify where to take actions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated by working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up with a fast pace and multiple responsibilities.
- Native level of Spanish and fluent level of English (Portuguese or Italian is a plus).
