**The salary range for this position is $76820 - $85100, however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Location: Boston, MA or Southeast Region (preference TX or FL) - This position may be remote-based, depending on location, with heavy travel to physical retail stores. 

Perigold, the destination for luxury home, is opening its first physical retail stores, first-of-their-kind luxury retail destinations of 20-30K square feet, with the best products in all styles and from across our catalog including furniture, decor, housewares, and home improvement categories. Our first store will open in Houston, TX - come be a part of it! We are looking for a Sr. Associate who will own the Human Resources lane for our retail employees. As a true business partner to our leaders, you will be tasked with providing tactical and strategic input, insight, and advice that connects stakeholders back to decisions grounded on our People Principles. You will tackle existing and potential future challenges through detailed understanding of the business objectives, key talent metrics, and KPIs driving success across your store(s). This role will report directly to a Senior Talent Partner, while working closely with functional partners. 

What You’ll Do -

  • Lead employee relations, employee engagement activities, and investigations. Works closely with functional partners to stay up-to-date with trends, practices, etc. Conduct training relating to adoption of our People Principles and cultural norms/expectations.
  • Support org design and structural changes to ensure consistency.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of Employee Records using various HRIS systems.
  • Evaluate new-hire onboarding and iterate to drive the best experience to fast ramp, assist with programming.
  • Assist performance management activities and compensation modifications - help leaders to understand team performance
  • Communicate and help execute the strategy behind and rollout of benefits programs, such as annual open enrollment, Performance Cycles, Voice Survey, and other cyclical initiatives. 
  • Partner closely with other functional partners, such as Talent Acquisition, Legal, Workforce Management (WFM) Payroll, ERC and other functional stakeholders to resolve issues such as  attendance, employee scheduling, leaves of absence, and performance management.
  • Engage in Talent programming that impacts the business. (ie. Safety Awareness Month, Learning & Development Adherence, etc). 

What You’ll Need -

  • 3+ years experience in a dedicated HR Generalist role, preferably in a retail setting (home or furnishings space. Interior design, furniture or home goods experience highly desired). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field, preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and answer questions.
  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully partner with individuals at varying levels within an organization.
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Google Suite and HRIS systems.

Physical Requirements 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly, frequently or occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel Requirements 

  • Approximately 50-60%, as needed.
