At Databricks, we empower our employees to do the best work of their careers by fostering an environment where innovation, growth, and well-being thrive. Our benefits programs are a cornerstone of this commitment, designed to support employees at every stage of their lives. As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling these programs, ensuring they align with our values and meet the evolving needs of our growing global workforce. You will serve as the primary escalation point for complex benefits, time-off, and leave queries across EMEA and APJ regions (18 countries), ensuring timely and effective resolution.

By collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll drive operational excellence and deliver a seamless employee experience that reflects Databricks' dedication to its people.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • Manage benefit renewals, oversee open enrolments, and handle the day-to-day administration of global benefits programs. Develop and implement targeted employee communications, including email campaigns, to boost awareness and engagement.
  • Evaluate and optimize processes to identify automation opportunities, streamline administrative tasks, and transition routine functions to Shared Services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to create scalable solutions that support growth and maintain operational excellence.
  • Leverage expertise in LOA policies to design, manage, and refine leave programs that align with company values. Partner with the technology team to improve Workday capabilities for LOA management and develop comprehensive policy documentation and checklists for employees, managers, and People teams.
  • Audit and analyze leave data to identify trends, correlations with insured benefits (e.g., critical illness, long-term disability), and areas for process improvement. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance leave processes and optimize benefits utilization.
  • Create and enhance Tier 0 (self-service) content, empowering employees, managers, and shared services with easy-to-understand, accessible information about benefits and leave programs.
  • Partner with Shared Services and People Ops to identify process gaps and create targeted training to upskill teams on benefits offerings. Foster a continuous learning culture to ensure stakeholders are equipped to support employees effectively.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to validate and reconcile benefits data, reducing errors in payroll processing. Regularly audit programs to ensure compliance with global regulations and industry best practices.
  • Oversee budgeting, invoice processing, and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Partner with the global benefits team to contribute to global projects, acquisitions, and the rollout of new programs and solutions that enhance benefits administration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, conduct research, and provide data-driven recommendations to influence benefits design and policy changes, supporting the needs of our expanding workforce.
What We Look For:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing EMEA and APJ health, wellbeing, financial benefits, time-off, and leave of absence programs.
  • Strong understanding of global benefits regulations and local compliance requirements.
