As an Executive & Equity Compensation Analyst, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Legal, Finance, Stock Admin, and People to help manage and evolve our equity and executive compensation programs. You’ll play a key role in designing and operationalizing programs that are market-aligned and built to scale.

The impact you will have:

  • Support the design, modeling, and administration of Databricks’ global equity programs, including new hire grants, refresh cycles, and special grants.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Stock Administration to ensure accurate and compliant execution of equity programs across geographies.
  • Drive compensation benchmarking and analytics for executive roles using proprietary and external data sources.
  • Contribute to materials and analyses for executive compensation decisions, including annual CD&A-style narratives and board/comp committee presentations.
  • Develop and maintain tools, models, and dashboards to analyze equity usage, burn rate, dilution, and overall health of our equity pool.
  • Support readiness for IPO by helping to refine equity and executive compensation practices in line with public company standards.
  • Provide education, tools, and communications to HRBPs, Talent, and employees to increase transparency and understanding of our equity and exec comp programs.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform program design and compliance.
  • Manage D&I program events including company-wide events at our annual Company Kickoff and Summits
  • Support our 5 active Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with event planning, execution, and company-wide communications
  • Work with the Program Manager on the development and facilitation of quarterly ERG leaders training workshops
  • Provide editorial support for the quarterly Spectrum D&I newsletter and other internal communications for all D&I related activities
  • Maintain the D&I website including working with ERG leads to manage their site pages

What we look for:

  • 3–6 years of experience in compensation with exposure to both equity and executive compensation in a public or high-growth private tech company.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets; proficiency with tools and resources like Workday, Radford, Pave, or Shareworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with global equity instruments (RSUs, options, PSUs) and key metrics like burn rate, dilution, and SBC.
  • Experience working with executive compensation frameworks, benchmarking, and public disclosures (e.g., CD&A) preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and with executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and excited to help build foundational programs.
