The Sr. Director of Global Sales Development is responsible for all aspects of creating a predictable and consistently-growing global sales pipeline - across North America, EMEA & APAC - for the Movable Ink sales team. This is an opportunity to own a critical department at one of the fastest-growing MarTech organizations in SaaS, while thinking creatively about organization structure, comp plan design, territory design, systems adoption, and career progression for your department. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor on pipeline generation via outbounding to all of global sales leadership, business & revenue operations leadership, marketing leadership and partnerships leadership. You will also have the chance to set the tone and culture for your department, because it all starts with recruiting the right high-potential talent. The Sr. Director of Global Sales Development will report directly into Movable Ink’s Global Chief Revenue Officer as part of the global sales leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a predictable (forecastable) and consistently-growing new and horizontal global sales pipeline for the Movable Ink sales team
  • Lead the strategic direction of the outbounding team, identifying opportunities to define roles and responsibilities to optimize team effectiveness as we mature into a multi-product outbounding philosophy
  • Build consistent career paths for our outbounding organization so that they can grow into salespeople (or into other departments at Movable Ink) by proactively partnering with leadership across departments to identify opportunities for skill development and progression
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business & Revenue Operations teams on analysis, systems selections & systems best practices - including the implementation and execution of new initiatives based on the analysis
  • Partner with front-line sales management and executive sales leadership to understand organizational priorities and getting ahead of personnel movements
  • Lead a monthly global pipeline meeting with everyone who contributes to generating the pipeline - from outbound leadership to partner sales to events - clearly communicating our analysis of current progress and new initiatives
  • Ensure we have the proper tech stack, and in partnership with GTM enablement ensuring that the team is properly enabled to use the tech stack and that the tech stack is fully adopted for all of its relevant capabilities
  • Partner with product marketing on content strategy and messaging of what the outbound team should be sending

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SaaS experience in sales, marketing and/or direct outbounding  
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience with direct experience hiring, developing and promoting global business development leaders at scale
  • Proven track record of delivering an impact across all outbounding functions in all regions
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Salesforce.com, Gong, Gong Engage, Cognism, and other enterprise outbounding systems
  • Expertise in identifying key trends and actionable insights from various data sources to communicate a clear and concise narrative to stakeholders at all levels of Movable Ink
  • Passion for innovation, creativity and developing the careers of your team

The base pay range for this position is $165,000-$175,000/year, which can include additional bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
