Opportunity Statement:  This position will develop and oversees our data and security solutions to prevent data breaches and cybercrime activities.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Part of team in charge of cybersecurity solutions design, build & run with a large catalogue of technologies (SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability management, etc.)
• Contributing to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms.
• Assisting the SOC team with critical SIEM alerts and fine tuning alerts.
• Performing security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture resulting in recommendations for inclusion in the risk mitigation strategy.
• Implementing security measures assistance in disaster recovery and planning.
• Background with researching emerging infrastructure related threats such as Malware, Ransomware, Data exfiltration, DDoS, etc.

Skills you will need to succeed:At least 5/10 years of experience in infrastructure and at least +5/10 years in information security, some exposure to a SOC team activity. Architect+Build+Run experience.

Preferred Skills:Deep understanding of and experience with distributed system architecture built and managed in Microsoft Azure. Working in an international environment.

Soft skills:Stress handling, leadership, team player, good communication, problem solving aptitude, strong reporting skills

Technical skills:

Mastery:Develop security policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices. Solid infrastructure (server, network, cloud, endpoint, etc) & cybersecurity (detection, protection, response, etc.) technical skills Proficient:Scripting, Enterprise Antivirus Management, DLP, Malware Detection, IPS/IDS, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Web Application Firewall. Windows & Linux administration.Basic knowledge:Ticketing, Active directory, patch management, general IT troubleshooting

Title: Sr IT Security Engineer

Base Range minimum: $120,000.00

Base Range maximum: $200,000.00

Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua offers an annual target bonus for this position conditional on individual and company performance. Other compensation factors may also be considered.
