Sr. Manager - FP&A
Location: Bangalore, India

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Finance Manager who will be a key player in, and is truly excited about, driving and effectively scaling Okta's growth. This person will manage a growing team of talented FP&A professionals based in India. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to be part of a dynamic FP&A organization that is operating at an accelerated pace and scaling for the future.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, is a great people manager, has the ability to hire and retain talent, while enabling the team to deliver a fantastic work product. They are highly motivated, excited about driving scale and automation, reporting improvements, and propelling an organization forward.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain growing FP&A team based in India
- Develop FP&A India model strategy in partnership with Finance Leadership, unlocking sustainable opportunities to scale and drive business value
- Gain knowledge of cross-company financials and processes, and cross-train team to support creation of FP&A Center-of-Excellence
- Oversee deliverables of team
- Assist with and manage ad-hoc projects to support management and business decisions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Able and willing to come into the Bangalore, India office as needed (up to 3x a week or more)
- Ability to work PST hours during critical times / as needed
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A
- 7+ years of experience leading teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Advanced Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/GSlides skills
- Experience with Anaplan or similar system
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
- Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forth new ways of thinking
- Experience in a high-growth global high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
